Ukrtransgaz expects to complete works to expand the Slovak route until December 25

Ukrtransgaz PJSC will complete works required to increase throughput capacity of the route to import gas from Slovakia by 31.7% - from 41 MMCM per day up to 54 MMCM per day until December 25, the chief engineer of the company Igor Burak informed.
«We will be ready until December 25… The Slovaks declared work completion before December 1, but I think they are still not ready», - he told reporters in Kiev on Tuesday.
Ukraine currently imports gas exclusively from Europe in the daily mode of 16.3 MMCM. In particular, Ukraine imports from Slovakia 13.6 MMCM, from Poland - 2.2 MMCM, from Hungary - 0.5 MMCM.
